Mississippi Stud offers an exciting type of poker game where you play against the paytable, rather than the dealer.
Like any other poker game, the objective in Mississippi Stud is to make the best hand using five cards. However, in this poker variant, you’ll have the chance to bet bigger or smaller on each community card, giving you the potential to win higher payouts on strong hands, or to save your money if the game is not going your way.
Mississippi Stud uses a standard 52-card pack of cards and includes a 3 Card Bonus side bet that gives the chance for more ways to win. Payouts in the poker game reach up to 50x for a Royal Flush.
How to Play Mississippi Stud for Real Money
To begin playing Mississippi Stud, you need to place a bet on the Ante section of the poker table. You’re then dealt two cards face up, while the three community cards sit face down.
You now have the chance to bet on 3rd Street at the rate of x1 your Ante, x2 or x3, or to Fold. Place your bet and the Flop card will be revealed.
The process continues on the 4th Street Turn card and 5th Street River card, giving you the chance to bet x1, x2 or x3 your Ante on each card, or Fold. To save time playing Mississippi Stud, players also have the option of selecting Max Bet All, which bets x3 your wager on each card.
Once all cards have been revealed, making up the player’s five-card hand, any wins will be paid out according to the paytable shown in the game. Each of the 3rd, 4th and 5th Street bets may pay out higher amounts, depending on the stake placed on each. Payouts are made for a hand of a pair of Jacks or better.
3 Card Bonus
The 3 Card Bonus is based on the three community cards, even paying out after a player folds their hand at any time during the game. Cash payouts are made in this version of Mississippi Stud if the three cards form a Flush or better, with payouts of up to 50x.
Limits & Payouts
The max bet for the Ante is 50 coins, with the max win being 25,050 on the Ante, and 75,150 on a 3rd, 4th or 5th Street bet. A max win payout of 500:1 will be paid on a Royal Flush in the main game, and 50:1 in the 3 Card Bonus, awarding up to 2,550 coins.
