Joker Diamond Slot
Wizard Games is the developer behind the Joker Diamond slot game, which was released to the online casino industry in 2022. The developers have implemented a classic theme in this title's gameplay, showcased in the simplicity of the base play and the visual designs. Despite being a classic-themed release, Wizard Games has added some modernized bonus mechanics into this slot release, some of which have been found throughout different online slots in the industry.
Joker Diamond Game Design
The design of the Joker Diamond slot is straightforward, featuring a limited number of visual elements to help evoke a retro aesthetic. The playgrid is located in the center of the view, with a square playgrid resembling traditional machine-based slots, which is bordered by thick golden frames with small circular detailing. Against the backdrop of the Joker Diamond slot, Wizard Games has used two shades of red diamonds, which are frequently illuminated by an orange glow.
There are many similar-themed games available here at PlayStar, including Liberty Diamond and Platinum 8x8x8x, which both feature straightforward designs.
Joker Diamond Mechanics
As expected for a classic slot release, the base gameplay in Joker Diamond is simple, taking place across 5 reels and 3 rows. Similar to other online casino games here at PlayStar, matching combinations may occur in the gameplay if identical symbols land across one of the 50 available paylines, with the combination starting at the leftmost reel and running from right to left in adjacent positions.
Despite being inspired by traditional slot machines, the Joker Diamond title features modern cross-platform compatibility, allowing it to be played on a range of online devices. Across the iGaming space, almost all slots and live casino games use HTML5 software, thanks to its greater accessibility.
Joker Diamond Bonus Features
Wizard Games has added some interesting bonus mechanics into the gameplay of the Joker Diamond slot, which may be triggered at random in gameplay.
Wild Symbols
Over the years, many PlayStar Casino slot games have added wild symbols to their gameplay, typically operating them in a similar way. In Joker Diamond, the wild symbol may appear on the reels, potentially stepping in for any base game symbol to create or extend a matching combination.
Reel Prizes
Located above each reel in the Joker Diamond slot are collect pots, free spins, and cash prizes. On each spin, these prizes can change in positions, though prizes on reels 2 and 4 will be locked during the base gameplay. If the diamond symbol appears on the reels, it will trigger the prize located in the corresponding position above the reel.
Cash prize & Multiplier
At random in any spin in Joker Diamond, a multiplier can appear before the reels stop spinning, which will multiply any prize values awarded in that spin.
Free Spins
Wizard Games has added a free spins feature to the Joker Diamond slot, which can be triggered if the diamond symbol lands on the reel below the free spins prize. If this feature is triggered, 10 free spins will be awarded, where prizes on reels 2 and 4 will be unlocked.
Collect Pots Wheel
When the diamond symbol lands on a reel with a collect pots prize on the reel above, the corresponding feature will be triggered. During this feature, users will have one spin of the collect pots wheel, where one of the jackpot prizes will be awarded. The prizes available in this title include:
- Mini - 15x Bet stake
- Minor - 35x Bet stake
- Major - 250x Bet stake
- Grand - 1,000x Bet stake
