How to Play Baccarat for Real Money
Place your bet by clicking on the Chip Selector button at the bottom of the screen, choose the amount you wish to wager, and then place the bet(s) on the Player, Tie and/or Banker.
Click Deal and the cards will be dealt – two to you and two to the banker initially, with the possibility for a third card to be dealt. The value of the two or three cards is added up and the one with the highest score wins.
Numbered cards 2-9 – worth the value on the card
10, Jack, Queen & King – worth zero points
Ace – worth one point
How to Win at Baccarat
To determine the winner, the card values are totaled and any double-digit number (a number over 10) has the first number removed. For example, a 7 card and 9 card total 16, so the 1 is removed, leaving a final value of 6.
The winner is whoever has the highest number closest to 9. You win if you have correctly bet on the winner.
Natural Win
A natural win is when either the Player or Banker have a points total of 8 or 9 on the first two cards dealt, in which case the hand is over and the win is paid out.
However, there are times when a third card is dealt to either the player or banker. When a player has a total of 0 to 5, they are dealt another card. They always stand on totals of 6 and above.
If the banker’s total is 0 to 6 and the player does not have a natural 8 or 9, the banker will take a third card.
Player, Tie or Banker
In Baccarat, you have the option of betting on the Player winning with the highest score, the Banker winning, and/or there being a tie of both having the same total card value in their hand.
If you bet on the Banker winning, the winning payout is 1:1 minus a 5% commission. So if you bet $100 and win, the win pays $95.
If you bet on the Player and win, the bet pays even money with no commission.
A win on a Tie pays out 8:1, so a bet of $100 would pay $800.
